GRATEFUL THANKS!

The Staff and Council Members of Grace Church wish to thank all of you who supported last week’s FUNDRAISER for the ACTS 4:32 FUND. Your generous  $UPPORT raised $878.00 dollars. This fund is able to help needy families in our congregation. We hope to do one Fundraiser per month. If you would like to take charge of one, please let Pastor Gary or Pia know.                                              

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Plan on hiking, fishing and just hanging out. We’ll have Bible studies fellowship and prayer.

EDUCATIONAL UPDATE

Derek is looking forward to the next year of seminary education with Master’s Institute and wishes to express his gratitude to everyone who has supported him thus far. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!

FUNDRAISER  TODAY!

We hope that you will all be able to participate in today’s  Fundraiser after church. We are so aware of needy families in our congregation and wish to build up the ACTS 4:32 Fund in order to help others, as we are able. Right now, this fund has $197.77 in it. 

We are planning to BBQ hot dogs, have chips and salsa and lemonade after church, along with time for fellowship with one another. If you can't stay to eat, maybe you would consider making a contribution (suggested donation is $15 per family). All checks should be made payable to Grace Church and earmarked Acts 4:32. We are considering different fundraisers (once a month) for the ACTS 4:32 Fund and someone has already volunteered to head up the next one in August :0)  Thank you all for your support!

The cost will be $95.00 per person and it includes 5 meals. The theme for this year’s retreat will be: “REVEILLE”

Please mark your calendars and sign up in the Narthex today. We are requesting a $25.00 DEPOSIT per person and we are  trusting that we’ll have a minimum of THIRTY attendees from Grace. Invite a friend! If you have any questions, please see Marg Geiger. Thank you.

We are very thankful to GOD for all the work HE did in the lives of our Youth during the ARC Conference in CA. Please pray for them as they return home today.

We are also grateful for the work HE did in and through the lives of the CA Youth Group that ministered in White River and stayed at Grace this past week. We look forward to hearing testimonies from both groups!

We praise GOD and give HIM thanks for Joe Rodriguez’ successful kidney transplant this week, as well as Dick Mecone’s shoulder and eye surgeries. Please continue to pray for each of their recoveries.

In September, Derek will be continuing his seminary education with Master's Institute. He has two more years until he graduates with an M-Div degree in Christian Leadership. He has 14 credits left until graduation. This translates to multiple trips per year to both Minneapolis and California.

There are a few ways that you can help, if you would like to do so: First, if you would like to donate monetarily, you may write a check to Grace Church and please note "Derek's Education" in the memo. Also, if you have any airline miles you could donate, that would be an enormous help!

July 12-14, 2012 (This Thursday through Saturday) in Huntington Beach, CA.

Grace Church has 15 youth and 4 adults attending this conference. Please remember them in your prayers as they travel to CA on Wednesday and return on Sunday.

WEST CYPRESS CHURCH YOUTH GROUP  

We are pleased to have W.C.C. Youth Group (from Cypress, CA) staying here at Grace this week while they spend their days doing ministry work in White River. Please pray for a special work of the Holy Spirit in and through each one of these faithful workers. They will be returning home on Friday.
