SERVANTS’ COUNCIL
Tomorrow evening, Monday, Jan. 30th the Servants’ Council will meet in the Fireside Room at 6:00 P.M. We encourage you to pray for our Council Members as well as for each Council Meeting. Thank you!
Sunday School Teachers
Please consider signing up to teach our young children. You can sign up for ANY Sunday and materials will be provided for you. There is a signup sheet in the Nursery Hallway. THANK YOU!
Thank You!
We are very grateful to Darla Becker, Dan Parcell and Sara Middleton for their response to last week’s request for volunteers. They cleaned and organized the Media and the Library Rooms this week. It was a huge project and GOD’S HOUSE looks much, much nicer now. Thank you and God bless you!
Celebrate Recovery!
Celebrate Recovery (a Christian program developed several years ago by Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church) emphasizes freedom and healing thru Christ for any of life’s hurts and hang-ups, promoting change. This is a step program based on the Beatitudes. Meet on Fridays: 6:00 – 9:00pm. For more information, Call Cathy Mast at 242-3170.
Ladies!
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH
“LUNCHEON & CRAFT EVENT”
Please mark your calendars and invite a friend or a neighbor to come to church with you. Lunch will take place following the Worship Service. We have a “sign up list” in the Narthex. The cost is $12.00 per person which includes your lunch and craft supplies. If you’d like to help out in any way, please contact Lee Wade or Debbie Allsop.
TESTIMONIES
Pastor Gary is encouraging us to PLAN ON SHARING our PERSONAL TESTIMONIES during our Sunday Morning Worship Services. There is a worksheet available in the Narthex to help us in preparing our testimonies. He encourages us to write it out, read it through, and time it. It should be kept to five to seven minutes in length. When you are ready to share it, please let Pastor Gary or Pia know and we will schedule you to present it on a Sunday morning. Thank you!
FAITH With Action
Please consider contributing food and clothing for this vital ministry. Rice, Beans and Dry Pasta Noodles are always needed. You can also volunteer to help distribute food on Wednesday between 11am and 1pm at Running Bear Mobile Resort in Lakeside.
